just recently came across a plausible explanation for the expression "for donkey's years", meaning for a very long time
it seems that it is a modification of "donkey's ears" which, as everyone knows, are a lot longer than those of a horse

which, tbh, sounds like a pretty stupid explanation
if they're going to make something up, they could at least make sure that they build an entertaining story around it

hence, being boring, it's probably true

not if we spread the word... we once tried ter do sth. like that, spreading a neologism, in our german classes. no one really cared enough ter keep the idea long enough alive ter actually spread...

well, but you don't become a white russian just by drinking it, do you?  and you don't neccesarily have Sex on the Beach after drinking it, do you? there might not be a beach at hand, what then?

guys, seriously, think before writing. and when having drunk it you don't neccesarily wlak around with slippery nipples, do you?

I dunno, I just really read it once on a menu and that was one of the very few times when it took me several minutes ter calm down and when i was literally crying with laughter...
