Why are lesbians so appealing to males?

i don't think i'm far wrong when i'm saying that in most same-sex relationships sex is a central activity
it may of course dwindle in importance as people get older (just like it does for heterosexual couples), but what's the point of a same-sex relationship without the sex - otherwise it may just as well be a platonic relationship

well, I observed it in berlin several times. like, in those posh clubs where the "rich" people go. I mean in front of it. not that i was rich or anything;)

Lesbians being appealing to men is not an accurate statement. While some men get turned on seeing "girl on girl action", others will be quick to be abusive and insulting, homophobic etc. (A scene from Family Guy springs to mind!)

As for gays being unattractive, same principle. It's all relative. While Elton John may be considered unattractive, John Barrowman may be considered anything but.

It's like saying chocolate is so amazing, when there a so many brands, types, flavours, etc, all different. Everyone is different and everything is relative. More or less. Sort of.

there is some detrimental effect to the genetic make-up of the offspring, however, recent investigations have shown this not to be as serious as originally thought
+ it all depends on the hidden defects in the genes of the parents

i've always expressed surprise that guinea pigs can be so inbred without obvious health defects, but it turns out it affects them in more insidious ways : inbred mothers have smaller litters, even though the offspring that makes it past birth appears healthy

true - but there's plenty of species that somehow manage
take naked mole rats for instance : as far as i'm aware they never breed outside the colony
