the smell of chocolate

its it just me, or is it a fairly common human trait to find the smell of chocolate a pleasant one ?
mind you, i wonder what would happen if you were surrounded by the smell 24/7, or at least for extended periods - say, like working in a chocolate factory : would you become desensitised to it ? or would you start to hate it ?

well, can't say i really enjoy it that much... at least when I've just eaten, be it chocolate or whatever I hate the smell of anything edible. that'd include chocolate.

Well, things like chocolate, etc, should work as a super-stimuli to our evolved preference for sugar, fat, and so on. I think people who say they don't like cheese burgers, coke and chocolate are in denial.

but that's just a mind over matter think only weak people would say that they actually like coke, wounnt they? i mean, i might say i enjoy the taste of it. occasionally. but the risk of caries is far too great for me to be able to enjoy a coke without ceratin images of rotten teeth filling my mind. then again, you might say i was neurotic...
